Nicola Anne Singer
After graduating with a Musical Theatre BA (Hons) degree from London Studio Centre, Nicola Anne gained a credible acting agent and began her career performing in various shows throughout London and the UK. Nicola Anne went on to perform as a singer and dancer at Brick Lane Music Hall and it was here that she found her passion, singing songs from the golden era.
Having been inspired to create her own 1940’s Vintage Girl Band called ‘My Favourite Things’, she began a joint business venture which allowed her to work at many 1940's events and meet some great people. 'My Favourite Things' have recorded 2 albums, made various radio appearances and it allowed Nicola Anne to embrace the vintage scene wholly.
She now gets to work with some of the countries most talented jazz musicians working as a soloist and especially loves working with Big Bands. Performing on many stages in London and around the UK at Theatre's, Festivals, Nightclubs, Fairs & Weddings, she counts herself a very lucky girl.
Nicola Anne curates the Vintage Marquee at one of the UK’s largest vintage festivals, Retro Festival (www.retrofestival.co.uk) which has allowed her to work with some fabulous musicians over the last couple of years. Not only does she run the Spitfire Pavilion but she also organises and directs the Spitfire Cabaret and the Fashion show. There are now two festivals a year, Newark in June and Newbury in August.

Nicola Anne has also featured in vintage magazines such as Vintage Life, In Retrospect and The Lady, as a pin up or vintage hair model. She also models vintage and retro clothing for online companies too. Posing comes as part of the package when performing but you can also book Nicola Anne as a model separate to this.
